One company bike leads to the next: Why a follow-up lease is worth it

As your company bike lease approaches its end, you have several options. But whether you decide to keep your bike or return it to us, have you considered leasing another one? Here are some great reasons to opt for a follow-up lease.
Reason 1: Keep enjoying tax advantages.
Ride your dream bike and save up to 40%—this doesn’t just apply to your first company bike, but also to any follow-up leasing. Thanks to salary conversion and tax benefits, getting a new company bike through follow-up leasing remains an affordable option. And don’t forget: accessories leased with your bike also qualify for savings of up to 40%.
Reason 2: Keep the Bikeleasing benefits.
Fully insured and backed by a service team that’s there for you quickly and without red tape in case of damage—once you’ve experienced that kind of convenience, you won’t want to give it up. If you want to keep those benefits beyond your current lease, follow-up leasing is the way to go. Of course, our employer default insurance and Comfort Insurance are also included with your follow-up lease. Plus, you can optionally add Wear-and-Tear Insurance and the Inspection Package.
Reason 3: Your second bike, your smarter choice.
Hindsight is 20/20—and that applies to bike leasing too. Maybe you realized during your lease that you’re more of a gravel bike person than a road bike type, or that a better gear system would’ve made things much more comfortable. Maybe you wish you had included the Wear-and-Tear Insurance. A follow-up lease is your chance to get it right the second time around. That also goes for fixed accessories, which you can lease again under the same great conditions.
Reason 4: Stay ahead of the curve.
A lot has happened in the bike world since your lease began. A follow-up lease is the perfect way to keep your ride up to date. Dreaming of the latest Canyon Aeroad with cutting-edge components from SRAM, Shimano, or Campagnolo? Got your eye on the Specialized Stumpjumper with Fox suspension? Or has the Riese & Müller Delite with Control Technology and Pinion gearing been on your wishlist for a while? With so many great new bikes out there, it’s hard to say no to follow-up leasing.
Reason 5: Your dreams evolve.
Three years ago, it had to be a road bike. Now you’re all about mountain biking? It’s not just dreams and preferences that change—your life situation might, too. Maybe you’ve moved and now need a city bike for commuting. Or maybe a cargo bike makes sense in your current day-to-day. A lot can happen over the course of a three-year lease. With follow-up leasing, you can pick a bike that fits the person you are today.
Reason 6: A second life for your company bike.
Follow-up leasing isn’t for you because you don’t want your current bike gathering dust—or worse, ending up in a landfill after just three years? No worries: if you don’t want to use your bike as a second ride, you can pass it on to someone who’ll enjoy it. Alternatively, you can return it to us. And even then, sustainability is ensured—under the motto “Good bikes keep rolling,” our subsidiary Bike2future refurbishes used company bikes and gives them a second life as premium pre-owned models.
