Version 1: Reimbursement of leasing instalments
1. Employer reports the insured event
- Notification is made via the Bikeleasing portal before the start of parental leave / maternity leave
- Required documents: Proof of the start of maternity leave / certificate of the expected date of delivery and the application for parental leave (if already available). The confirmation of parental leave and the respective duration (parental leave certificate) can be submitted after the birth of the child
2. End of parental leave / expiry of entitlement
- The insured event remains open until the specified end of parental leave or until the entitlement expires (max. 18 months)
- Should the activity be taken up prematurely, we ask for a corresponding notification of change
3. Settlement by the insurer
- The bike leasing service arranges the settlement with the insurer and sends the statement to the employer once the settlement has been completed
- The employer receives the corresponding compensation
Requirements for reimbursement of leasing instalments:
- The total leasing instalments will be reimbursed in one lump sum after the end of parental leave / after expiry of the entitlement (max. 18 months)
- The insured event must be reported before the start of maternity leave / before the start of parental leave
- The employee can continue to use their company bike during parental leave / maternity leave
Version 2: Company bike return
1. Employer reports the insured event
- Notification is made via the Bikeleasing portal before the start of parental leave / maternity leave
- Required documents: Proof of the start of maternity leave / certificate of the expected date of delivery and the application for parental leave (if already available). The confirmation of parental leave and the respective duration (parental leave certificate) can be submitted after the birth of the child
2. Dispatch of the return confirmation
- The bike leasing service sends the return confirmation to the service bike user and specialist dealer by e-mail
- The employer will also be informed of this by e-mail
3. Making an appointment
- Service wheel users and specialist dealers make an appointment
- If it is not possible to return the bike to the original dealer, the bike can also be returned to another Bikeleasing dealer by prior arrangement

4. Return of the company bike
- The company bike must be returned on the agreed date in a proper and complete condition (including leased accessories)
5. Confirmation of return to the bike leasing service
- The specialist dealer sends the signed return confirmation via the Bikeleasing portal
6. Settlement by the insurer
- The Bikeleasing Service arranges the settlement with the insurer and informs the employer of the premature end of the contract once the settlement has been completed
- The bike leasing service takes care of further processing with the specialist dealer
7. Requirements for returning a company bike:
- The leasing contract can only be terminated prematurely after the bike has been returned to the specialist dealer
- The insured event must be reported before the start of maternity leave / before the start of parental leave
