Amendment to the Road Traffic Act - an important step towards sustainable mobility

After several months of negotiations, an agreement has been reached. On 14 June 2024, the Bundesrat and Bundestag reached an agreement on a reform of the Road Traffic Act (#StVG). We explain what will change with the amendment.

Bikeleasing in northern Germany – now available to metal and electrical companies bound by collective bargaining agreements

Good news from northern Germany: As of July 16, 2022, numerous companies in Bremen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Schleswig-Holstein and northwestern Lower Saxony that are bound by collective agreements will be entitled to offer their employees company bike leasing via salary conversion. This was agreed by IG Metall Küste and the Nordmetall Employer’s Association.
