Winter is just around the corner. It’s high time to make your beloved bike fit for the specific challenges of the cold season. With these 5 tips, you and your bike will get through salt, moisture, ice and snow safely and unscathed.

We live Bikeleasing: Our colleague Jens will take you through the beautiful Solling. You can learn the exact route on komoot, where you will soon find more tips for tours and round trips from us. That’s our commitment to service – let’s go!

Good news for employees and employers in Austria: Bikeleasing-Service is now also open for business in Austria! As one of the large and established company bicycle providers in Germany, we strive to encourage even more employees to use the eco-friendly and healthy alternative for their commute to work.

Fall – some prefer to say “autumn” – is a season marked by largely unpredictable weather. There may be a fair amount of rain, with the wind blowing hard against us cyclists. In the morning it is often freezing cold, while in the afternoon sometimes even a t-shirt will do. The moody autumn season puts many cyclists – and their attire – to the test year after year. But remember: There is no such thing as bad weather, as long as you wear the right clothes. Your outfit should keep you warm and dry while contributing to your safety while you’re on the move.

In Germany, company bike leasing has never been more popular – and not just since the Corona pandemic. A low-contact means of transportation, the bike offers a wide range of positive effects from which employers can benefit.

According to the Climate Protection Act (Klimaschutzgesetz, KSG), the Federal Republic of Germany is obliged to reduce its CO2 emissions by a third by 2030. At around 94%, road traffic contributes by far the largest share of total traffic emissions. The Bundesverband Zukunft Fahrrad (BVFZ) would like to tackle this situation; it is campaigning for more support of cargo bikes and the underlying infrastructure.

The Corona pandemic has accelerated a range of social developments. The popularity of e-bikes has grown at a dramatic pace; never before has demand for leased e-bikes and S-pedelecs been greater.

Cycling can already be quite challenging in regular road traffic, but some folks prefer a real adventure. We have gone in search of the world’s five most extreme bike tours – and we promise: thrills are guaranteed!

Spacious, versatile and climate-friendly: The cargo bike is becoming increasingly popular, particularly in urban areas – and for good reason. It’s not only a real all-rounder that’s great for hauling children or dogs or doing errands. The cargo bike also helps mitigate traffic and protect the environment. We’ll gladly take the financial hurdle out of the purchase for you. With our Bikeleasing-Service, you can conveniently lease classic cargo bikes and e-cargo bikes.
